Nrityangana

My name is Tina Gangolli and i am from India. I have done my graduation in the field of Fine Arts in Bharatnatyam from the Mumbai university. I have been training students for the past 8 years and have also started my own instititute by the name of "Nrityangana Institute of Fine Arts" where i have been I have been training young children to perform and have been myself performing for various programmes organized by various dance organizations. Apart from my traning in dance i have also done my training in the field of Music at the gandharva mahavidyalaya.

I would like to know if you would be interested to teach students Indian classical dance.I would be really glad to nurture young talents in the field of Dance. I would be really obliged to receive a reply from you regarding my query.

  • Hosted and compered for programmes.
  • Performed classical dance for the Bhopal Dance Festival, Shivali Festival and various programmes organised by Iskcon.
  • Organised talent shows and choreographed dance ballets, also trained children for stage shows.
  • Performed in the ballet "Santavani" choreographed by Dr. Smt Kanak Rele.
  • Performed in the ballet "Kalyani" which is an adaptation from Rabindranath Tagore's "Chandalika", also choreographed by Dr. Smt Kanak Rele.
  • Performed at the Sangeet and Shastra Dance Festival at "Iskcon".
  • Performed at Haridwar in the temple of Shri "Veda Vyasa".
  • Performed at the Shivali Dance Festival at Mysore Association.
  • Performed at the Ahmednagar Videocon Academy for Dance.
  • Performed at the Srirampur Dance Festival.
  • Composed music for a russian ballet called " The Pig".
  • Received awards for excellence in poetry by the National Library of Poets, USA and was honoured with the title of the international Poet of the Year 2000".
  • Rendered voice for Jingles Sung in Hindi and Bengali aired on Doordarshan
  • Rendered voice for films and albums.

About myself :

I have started my own institute of fine arts by the name of "Nrityangana Institute of fine Arts". Every year i conduct programmes so as to provide a stage for young artistes of my institute and others. Apart from music and dance i have also won awards in poetry and was entitled as the "International Poet of the Yeary 2000" at the convention of the National Library of Poets at U.S.A.

I choreograph my own shows and have given ballet performances on the themes of "Krishna", his Leelas and "Avatara's and others. I have also worked on concepts of fusion in dance.

I also am training students for various competitions and programmes and also for "Arangettrams".

I have also been singing for various movies and given playback with Mr. Udit Narayan, Mr. Vinod Rathod, Mr. Sonu Nigam, Mr. Ravindra Sathe, Mr. Kumar Sanu and have also sung and done jingles for Doordarshan which have already been released on regional channels. I have also given playback in the popular serial aired on "Zee T.V." that is "teacher" whose music was given by Mr. "Nikhil - Vinay".

About nrityangana:

Nrityangana is an institute for dance and music wherein a student is taught all about music and indian classical dance both theoretically and practically.

The duration of the entire course is 3 years after the completion of which a student blooms out with immense creativity as a performer. The whole course is a rigorous training period and the student is nurtured with all the basics required for them to grasp this beautiful dance style and after this training is completed by the students they perform their "Arangettram" which is the first performance of a student after being moulded in this style for 3 rigorous years. 

We also have courses for students wanting to grasp an essence of the whole dance style through workshops which we conduct for a period of four months wherein we teach only the basics of Bharatanatyam.
