The Adam Basma Bazaar is like no other store in the Los Angeles area. It features costumes, dance props, jewelry and cultural items from throught the Middle East. Adam is always there with Turkish coffee & Tea on the stove and a big smile for everyone who walks through the door. The store also has it's own dance studio where you can learn the art of Belly Dance from one of the foremost masters in the world!!

Under the direction of Artistic Director and Choreographer Adam Basma, the Adam Basma Dance Company brings to life on stage the rich pagentry of color, music, and history of the traditional native dances of Middle East and North Africa. The Adam Basma Dance Company, formed in 1980, began with a mission of teaching and educating the American public on the traditional art of folk style middle eastern dance. Adam has received international and critical acclaim for his precise attention to detail, technique and structure of each dance performed from the many regions of the middle east. Having toured throughout the United States and Europe, the Adam Basma Dance Company has performed for hundreds of dignitaries, including middle eastern Royal Families.

Through his dedication to dance and music, Adam Basma entertains and educates people of all cultures and walks of life about the fascinating dance, traditions and artistry of the Middle Eastern cultures.
