How can I present short video clips about my dance activities on the Web?

motionsound.com will have a new free offer very soon: The processing of short video clips for the Web and their presentation on our web site. We will test this new service in May and June together with interested people, and the free offer will then start in July 2002 for all users, who have their Internet presence exclusively with motionsound.com and who do not operate their own web site.

What does it need?

We need the videos either in digital format MiniDV or in analog VHS format, as known from the normal video recorders. We can convert analog video from the European PAL as well as from the American NTSC video cassettes to DV. Before the video clips can be transmitted to the web we must cut and compress them. For this process we use the professional video suite Final Cut Pro 3. To the detailed description...

Of course, also the users who operate their own web sites but who are registered in one of our directories can present their video clips at motionsound.com for free. The only condition is, that they send us their clips in a form that is ready for presentation on the web, i.e. as QuickTime files (.mov), video files (.avi) or MPEG-2 files (.mpg).
